Ray Barbosa has a Masters of Science in Defense and Strategic Studies from Missouri State University, a Bachelors of Science with a double major in Political Science and History from Missouri Western State University and has 20+ years experience as a government contractor. He has worked at the Pentagon supporting U.S. Army Readiness and at the Army CIO/G6 Strategic Outreach office. At Fort Leavenworth, KS, Ray supported the U.S. Army Electronic Warfare Proponent.

Prior to starting The Simulations Center, Ray developed and moderated simulations for fellow college students. He got his start in education simulations by  volunteering as a Model UN mentor at St. Patrick School in Kansas City, providing several class instruction periods on International Relations. He piloted the World Crisis simulation at St. Patrick School and has been developing educational simulations 

Ray firmly believes in the positive educational impact simulations can have on students and how they can be inspiring and motivating. That is his personal mission in developing intriguing educational simulations for students. It is his hope he can motivate and inspire students to strive for their dreams as he was inspired to achieve his.
